Gabi Gibson

My name is Gabi Gibson, and I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. I started hockey at age 3 and became a goalie at 10, playing boys hockey until 13 before switching to girls to prepare for college. I earned two silvers, a bronze, and a gold at Nationals, then went on to play NCAA Division III hockey at Anna Maria College. I completed my master’s in social work in 2025 and now coach goalies in Tennessee while continuing to play and mentor athletes.

I chose WAHA because they truly support their athletes and provide the guidance many need but don’t know where to find. Their commitment to educating and developing players makes them the ideal platform for those seeking the next level.

I became an advisor because athletes and families often need clear direction, honest feedback, and informed support. With my experience and passion for development, I’m dedicated to helping players grow, stay motivated, and reach their goals. I’m excited to make a difference—let’s get started!
