Allison Attea

Growing up in Buffalo, NY—a city with a deep-rooted hockey culture—I’ve been immersed in the game for as long as I can remember. Midway through high school, I transferred to Nichols Prep School to pursue my dream of playing women’s hockey at the highest level. That journey led me to compete in NCAA Division I hockey at the College of the Holy Cross, where I earned a degree in Psychology with a Pre-Medicine focus. I went on to play professionally for two seasons with the Buffalo Beauts in the PHF, followed by a season overseas in Sweden.

Now, as an advisor with WAHA, I bring firsthand knowledge of the dedication, challenges, and perseverance required to succeed at the elite level. I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation of female athletes and providing the guidance, clarity, and support they need to achieve their goals. Having lived this path myself, I know how impactful strong mentorship can be in a young player’s journey.
